Each grade is turned into points (A = 4, B = 3 and so on), multiplied by the course credits, added up, and divided by the total credits.
A weighted GPA gives extra points for harder classes. Many schools add 0.5 for Honors and 1.0 for AP or IB, so an A in AP counts as 5.0.
Open Add your previous GPA, enter your current GPA and the credits you have earned. The calculator combines them with this term.
Most schools count A+ as 4.0, but some use 4.3. Switch the scale at the top to match your school.
