Email Blacklist Check

Check a domain or IP against Spamhaus and 10 more blacklists.

How it works

1

Enter a domain or IP

For a domain we also check its website and mail server IPs.

2

We check the lists

8 IP blacklists and 3 domain blacklists, including Spamhaus.

3

Get delisted

If you are listed, fix the cause and request removal on each list.

How to get off a blacklist

  • Find the cause first: a hacked email account or website, a purchased list, or a sudden spike in volume.
  • Fix it and change passwords.
  • Request removal on the blacklist website. Most lists remove you automatically after the spam stops.
  • If you use a shared email provider like Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, a listed IP is their problem. Contact their support.

Email Blacklist Check features

  • Checks IPs on Spamhaus ZEN, SpamCop, Barracuda, UCEPROTECT, PSBL, Mailspike, DroneBL and NiX Spam.
  • Checks domains on Spamhaus DBL, SURBL and URIBL.
  • For a domain, checks the domain plus its website and mail server IPs.
  • Clearly marks lists that did not answer, so you never see a false listing.

Email Blacklist Check FAQ

Why is my IP blacklisted?

Usually spam was sent from it, often by a hacked account, a compromised website on the same server, or a bulk email to a bad list.

What does "Not checked" mean?

That list did not answer our server, for example because it limits free queries. It does not mean you are listed.

Does a blacklist listing send my email to spam?

It can. Many companies block email from IPs on Spamhaus and similar lists, and others use listings as a spam signal.
